ClimateLA is an implementation program for action items discussed in the GreenLA plan released by the City of Los Angeles in May 2007.  While ClimateLA does not include a separate adaptation section, many of the adaptation pieces listed in GreenLA are addressed in this report, such as urban heat. Within the next five years, the city will implement a city-wide climate change education program. Generally, adaptation will become a priority for Los Angeles in the near future and will be included in departmental action plans.
