GreenLA: An Action Plan to Lead the Nation in Fighting Global Warming

The City of Los Angeles released its climate action plan, GreenLA, in May 2007. This plan contains a short adaptation section that addresses disaster preparedness, water security, fire preparedness, reducing the heat island effect, and protecting public health. A separate report, ClimateLA, describes the implementation program, providing detailed information about each action item discussed in the GreenLA framework.
