On June 25, 2013, President Obama announced his plan to prepare for and reduce climate changes at Georgetown University. The Georgetown Climate Center appeared in multiple stories about the release of the plan. The Center also hosted a meeting with Obama Administration and state and power company representatives a few days following the announcement to discuss what's working now and potential paths forward that would reduce carbon pollution.
